2025-26 Baby Race (sponsored by DE529)
Register for the Baby Race on Saturday, December 13th, 2025 as Men's Basketball takes on Cal State Northridge at 1 p.m. The race is open to all babies between 6-15 months old who can crawl but cannot yet walk. Two individuals must escort the baby to the floor and are welcomed to bring any toys with them to encourage the baby along the race.
Babies will crawl from the foul shot line to half court, and the winning baby will receive $529 in a DE529 Educational Savings Plan. Participating families will receive up to 4 complimentary tickets to the game. Registration is open until Tuesday, December 9th, 2025 at 11:59pm, or until all spots are filled.
Please submit a photo of your baby with their name and age to BlueHensMarketing@udel.edu to ensure your baby has a starting lineup graphic for the video board! Those who register by 11/20/25 will be guaranteed to receive a free Delaware Basketball onesie courtesy of Athlete's Thread.
