Club Men's Crew Victories and Events

The Men's Crew team is comprised of rowers of all experience levels. Beginners work on their technique and physical training alongside varsity rowers to prepare for competitive racing against other novices. The team competes in duels and championship races against Philadelphia area schools as well as Ivy League contendors. The team is affiliated with the Eastern Rowing Association of Colleges (ERAC) and the Dad Vail Rowing Association.

10/11 - Navy Day Regatta- 1st - Lightweight 8+
- 3rd - JV Lightweight 8+
- 7th - Heayweight 8+
10/12 - 9th Annual Alumni and Family Day
- Members of the 2009 Dad Vail Championship Lightweight 8+ as well as alumni who made gifts on behalf of their 5 and 10 year reunions were recognized
10/18 - Post Regatta Happy Hour with Boston Alumni Club
10/19 - Head of Charles Regatta
- 4th - Lightweight 8+
- 5th in Collegiate 8 - Heavyweights 8+
*Best results ever by UD at the Head of Charles Regatta. The Lightweights finished ahead of the Turkish National Team, who won bronze at the World Championships in August. They also were ahead of Penn, Yale, Dartmouth, Navy, and the other top dogs. The Heavyweights finished ahead of 39 other teams.
