University of Delaware?s Zach Kerr, Eric Enderson Named to College Sporting News Fabulous Fifty FCS All-American Teams

CHICAGO -- University of Delaware senior defensive tackle Zach Kerr and redshirt freshman punter Eric Enderson have earned post-season honors on the College Sporting News Fabulous Fifty Football Championship Subdivision All-America teams.
Kerr (Quince Orchard HS/Gaithersburg, Md.) was named first team All-American on defense while Enderson (Phoebus/Hampton, Va.) was named honorable mention All-American on special teams.
Kerr, a second-year transfer from Maryland, proved to be one of the nation's top interior defensive lineman once again this fall after also earning first team All-Colonial Athletic Association honors for the second straight year. A co-captain, Kerr recorded 57 tackles (28 solo), including 5.5 tackles for loss (29 yards), 3.5 sacks (24 yard), two pass breakups, and two forced fumbles. He ranked fourth among all CAA down linemen in tackles.
No player in the history of Delaware football had a better season punting than Enderson, a redshirt freshman who ranked among the nation's top punters. After a slow start over the first three games, he was the model of consistency and led the CAA in punting average (45.0 per punt), punting yardage (2,701), and punts over 50 yards (22 - no other CAA player had more than 13), and ranked No. 2 in punts inside the opponent 20-yard line (20). His 45.0 yard average, which currently ranks No. 3 nationally, shattered the UD single season record of 42.8 set by Gene Vadas in 1991. Enderson was one of only three freshmen honored on the All-CAA squads and was the only rookie special teams player honored.

Offensive Lineman Of The Year: Billy Turner, OT, North Dakota State
Special Teams Player Of The Year: Xavier Roberson, KR, Southeastern Louisiana
Freshmen Of The Year: Cooper Kupp, WR, Eastern Washington
Playoff MVP: Brock Jensen, QB, North Dakota State
Delaware recently completed it season under first-year head coach Dave Brock with a 7-5 overall mark and a 4-4 slate in CAA play, good for a tie for fifth place in the league standings. The Blue Hens received votes in every The Sports Network Top 25 poll during the season, climbing as high as 15th on Nov. 4.
