Blue Hens Collect Four Victories Against UMBC at Navy National Invite

ANNAPOLIS, Md. – The University of Delaware men's tennis squad picked up four victories Friday as the Blue Hens took on UMBC on the first day of the Navy National Invitational.
Delaware collected wins in No. 3 and No. 4 doubles play and the second and seventh flights of singles action.
Alex SweetIn the fourth spot, sophomore Roy Cheng (Shatin Hong Kong/Sentinel Secondary School) and freshman Colin Wong (Jalan Anggerik Eria, Malaysia) paired for an 8-5 win against Eric Jarkowski and Justin Lansinger.
In No. 2 singles, freshman Matt Renzi (Pittsford, N.Y./Pittsford-Mendon) came from behind to pull out a close, 6-4, 6-7 (4), 11-9 victory versus Eliott Loubatie.
Wong also dominated in singles play against Lansinger with a 6-1, 6-1 win in a No. 7 matchup.

· The Blue Hens are 11-16 (singles) and 5-8 (doubles) so far this season.
