Hofstra got first half goals from Kristin Desmond and Jamie Delaney to take a 2-0 lead into halftime and added some insurance with a goal from Jenn Buoncore with 19:01 left to play.

• Delaware has won 7 or more games for the sixth straight season and for the 16th time in the last 17 seasons
• Senior Kelsey O'Donnell get the start in goal for the Blue Hens and recorded a career-high 13 saves, the most by a Delaware netminder since Melissa Kulp turned back 14 shots vs. Hartford on Sept. 25, 1993.
• Hofstra's 29 shots were the second most against the Blue Hens this season (Virginia had 31 vs. Delaware back on Aug. 30)
