Delaware erased a 21-point deficit in the second half and came within two with less than three minutes remaining, but East Carolina knocked down free throws late to defeat the Blue Hens, 68-58, Sunday afternoon at the Bob Carpenter Center. The Pirates (5-0) led, 51-30, with 5:54 on the clock in the third period before the Hens (2-1) fought back through a 20-3 run over the next nine minutes. A layup at 2:25 from Alecia Bell cut ECU's lead to 59-57, but the Pirates held UD to just one free throw in the concluding minutes. Nicole Enabosi posted her third straight double double and finished the game with a season-best 23 points and 10 rebounds. She also led all players with four steals in addition to a blocked shot and assist in 32 minutes of action. Erika Brown collected 16 points for the second consecutive game while Sadé Chatman picked up eight points, four rebounds, a blocked shot and a steal. Jada Payne notched her fourth double double of the year with 25 points and 17 rebounds while I'Tiana Taylor logged 11 points and 11 rebounds before fouling out.

· Delaware begins a span in which the Blue Hens will play six straight on the road before returning to the Bob Carpenter Center on December 22.
· The Hens conclude the San Diego State Thanksgiving Classic Sunday with a contest against North Dakota State while Wisconsin will take on the host Aztecs.
· Nicole Enabosi was named the CAA Rookie of the Week and has opened her collegiate career with three straight double doubles, becoming the first player in program history to do so.

· Friday's matchup will be the first-ever meeting between the Blue Hens and Badgers in women's basketball history.
· Bobbie Kelsey (Stanford '96) is in her fourth season as the head coach of the Badgers after spending four years as the top assistant coach at her alma mater. During her tenure, Wisconsin has posted a mark of 32-60.
