The Blue Hens snapped a three-game losing streak and had four players score in double figures last Tuesday as Delaware entered holiday break with a 71-60 victory against Vermont. The Hens (5-5) led for more than 35 minutes of the contest and by as much as 13 in the third quarter, but the Catamounts (4-7) threatened late. Vermont opened the fourth quarter with an 8-0 run to cut Delaware's lead to just three with eight minutes remaining, but the Hens capitalized on their free throws down the stretch to pull out the victory. UD, which returned to the Bob Carpenter Center for the first time in a month, were led by Hannah Jardine's 18 points and eight rebounds. Erika Brown added 16 points and four assists while Courtni Green collected 14 points, five rebounds and three steals. Sadé Chatman picked up her first career double double in a Delaware uniform with 10 points and 10 rebounds. Nicole Enabosi nearly missed her fourth double double of the year and finished the night with nine points and 11 rebounds. Andreana Thomas guided Vermont with 26 points, five assists and four rebounds while Sydney Smith registered 19 points and four rebounds.

· Tuesday's game will be the first-ever matchup between the Blue Hens and Colonials in women's basketball history.
· The 2015-16 season will be the last for 13th year RMU head coach Sal Buscaglia (Canisius '76), who will retire at the conclusion of the season after 38 years on the bench. With 209 wins at RMU, Buscaglia needs just three more to break the program record of 211 (Dan Swalga, 1978-90). Buscaglia has won a total 696 games at four schools (Hilbert College, University at Buffalo, Manhattan College, RMU).
