BROOKLINE, Mass. – After losing for just the third time this month Tuesday, the University of Delaware baseball team will look to get back to its winning ways as the Hens travel to Northeastern this weekend in a three-game Colonial Athletic Association series.
Delaware (9-6, 2-1 CAA) kicked off conference play last weekend by taking two of three games from Hofstra at home, while Northeastern (7-14, 0-3 CAA) was swept by UNCW to open its CAA schedule.
Jim ShermanAdam Davis will start game one of the series, while Chad Martin will get the nod in game two. Reigning CAA Pitcher of the Week Ron Marinaccio will look to backup his complete game performance against Hofstra with another stellar outing as the freshman takes the mound in game three.
Game one is scheduled for 3 p.m. Friday, while the second game of the series is set for 1 p.m. Saturday. Game three will take place at 12 p.m. Sunday and all games will be played at Northeastern's Friedman Diamond.
