Joe Giacchino Among Finalists for TD Ameritrade College Home Run Derby Fans? Choice Award

OMAHA, Neb. – University of Delaware senior Joe Giacchino is among 18 finalists for the 2015 TD Ameritrade College Home Run Derby Fans' Choice Award, TD Ameritrade Holding Corporation and Intersport announced Tuesday.
The 18 finalists selected for this year's award each demonstrate leadership and commitment in all aspects of life, stay active in their community, are dedicated in the classroom and inspire the will to win among those around them.
The winner will be determined by fans through online voting and will be honored at the 2015 TD Ameritrade College Home Run Derby. Fans can view profiles of the finalists and vote daily by visiting www.fanschoiceaward.com.
The TD Ameritrade Fans' Choice Award is the only college baseball award determined solely by fans. There are three rounds of voting: Round One opened Tuesday and ends June 8 when the top 12 vote getters move on to Round Two.
The field will then be reduced to four on June 15, while Round Three voting will end and TD Ameritrade will officially announce the winner June 22. The winner also will be honored at the TD Ameritrade College Home Run Derby in Omaha, Neb., on July 2.
Fans can vote once a day, every day (If you have a Twitter account, Facebook account, and put in your email, you can vote up to 3 times a day – one time with each)
Giacchino was one of three captains of the 2015 Blue Hen squad and posted .329 batting average with 10 doubles and four home runs.
