The Blue Hens made a valiant effort in the final quarter, but it was too little too late as Northeastern defeated Delaware, 57-54, Friday evening at the Cabot Center. Down 48-36 to start the fourth, UD (13-12, 8-6 CAA) outscored the Huskies, 18-9, in the final stanza. A 3-pointer to tie the game from Hannah Jardine was off the mark as time expired as NU came away with the win. Sadé Chatman led all scorers with 12 points, six of which came in the fourth. Courtni Green added 11 points, four assists and three steals for the Hens. Nicole Enabosi collected a team-best seven rebounds to go with seven points. Samantha DeFreese and Claudia Ortiz posted double doubles of 11 points and 11 rebounds and 11 points and 10 rebounds, respectively, for the Huskies.

· The snapped a two-game winning streak with a 57-54 loss at Northeastern Friday.
· Delaware will honor its women's basketball alumnae Sunday afternoon.
· UD guard Erika Brown is nearing the 1,000-career-point mark and currently holds 979.

· UD holds the all-time series advantage of 54-12 over HU.
· In January's league opener, Hofstra defeated the Hens, 58-49, in Hempstead.
· Delaware has won 12 of the last 15 against the Pride.
· UD is 30-1 against HU in Newark. Hofstra's lone win on the road came on January 8, 2009 when the Pride defeated the Blue Hens, 62-53, in overtime at the Bob.
