Delaware Football Assistant Coach Dennis Dottin-Carter Accepts Position on UConn Staff

Danny Rocco's staff to continue as defensive line coach. Dottin-Carter's replacement will be announced soon.
“Coach Dott served the University of Delaware football program well during his years as a Blue Hen,” said Rocco, who was named Delaware's head coach back in December and had completed his staff earlier this month. “He was an asset to me and to my staff as we transitioned into the program. We wish him well as he pursuers his goals.”
Dottin-Carter coached four seasons at Delaware, all as defensive line coach, and also served as co-defensive coordinator for three seasons before moving into the interim head coach roll this past fall.

Dottin-Carter coached four seasons at Delaware, all as defensive line coach, and also served as co-defensive coordinator for three seasons before moving into the interim head coach roll this past fall.
He coached five All-Colonial Athletic Association selections during his career, including current Indianapolis Colts defensive tackle Zach Kerr and 2014 CAA Defensive Rookie of the Year Blaine Woodson. The Hens ranked in the national Top 25 in run defense and 2015.
A native of Cambridge, Mass., Dottin-Carter was an All-CAA and All-New England linebacker at the University of Maine and served as an assistant coach at his alma mater under head coach Jack Cosgrove before coming to Delaware.
