Blue Hens Women's Swimming and Diving Sweep Meet at LaSalle

PHILADELPHIA, Pa. -- The University of Delaware women's swimming and diving program picked up a pair of victories Saturday, defeating host La Salle (187-110) and Rider (217-80), Saturday afternoon at Kirk Pool.
Delaware (3-5) received great performances from juniors Gabby Acker and Mina Feyrer Saturday as both won multiple events. Acker dominated the distance events winning both the 1000 freestyle (10:49.59) and 500 freestyle (5:14.79). Feyrer won the 100 fly (58.10), 200
Sophomore Ellie Jogani won the 200 freestyle (1:57.16) and finished second in the 200 IM (2:13.66) behind freshman teammate Audrey Duvall (2:11.49).
Delaware returns to action next Friday, Saturday and Sunday at the Franklin & Marshall Invitational.
