POST-GAME QUOTES
Head Coach Natasha Adair
“Today was important because we were able to play everyone. I think that's the beauty of our team, because we're still a young team in terms of minutes logged. Each game I feel we're learning and improving. In the last two games we've put together our two most complete games offensively and defensively. We have learned how to take it possession by possession. Abby [Gonzales] is doing a fantastic job of managing the clock and the possessions. Every day, every practice is a teaching moment. I really feel like this group is such a team and has a great team oriented mind-set. The fact that there are no hidden agendas and no hierarchy speaks to our group.”
Sophomore Samone DeFreese
“The biggest key today was confidence. The whole coaching staff puts us in a position to be successful. It comes down to having confidence that you're going to make shots, or come off ball-screens well. Confidence is definitely defining our success. I think our depth changes and elevates our team. Everyone is focusing on Nicole, which they should be, but I think having different threats all over the court changes the game and forces the opponent to step-up and guard everyone. You cannot take a play off against us and that makes us a threat going forward.”

Senior Alison Lewis
[On playing in first career game after transferring to UD and the suffering setbacks due to injury]: “I completely forgot the rush that comes with entering and playing in a game. It's been a long two years trying to get back on the court. It's really amazing, I can't describe it in any other way.”
