Delaware Baseball Home Weekend Schedule Altered Due To Impending Cold

NEWARK, Del. -- Due to the impending frigid temperatures and precipitation in the forecast for Friday and Saturday, the weekend schedule for the University of Delaware Bob Hannah Baseball Invitational has been altered.
Doubleheaders set for Friday, Mar. 3, and Saturday, Mar. 4, beginning at 11 a.m. have both been canceled. The tournament will now include doubleheaders on Sunday, Mar. 5, and Monday, Mar. 6.
Instead of Delaware playing a pair of games against Rider and Delaware State, the Blue Hens will now just play once against Delaware State. Delaware and Rider will still play twice.
The tournament schedule will get underway on Sunday with Delaware State and Rider squaring off at Bob Hannah Stadium at 11 a.m. Following the conclusion of that game, Delaware will tale on Rider at 2:30 p.m.
On Monday, the Blue Hens will play a doubleheader, facing off against the Broncs at 11 a.m. and against Delaware State at 2:30 p.m.
