Feyrer Enjoys Success in Loss to Towson

TOWSON, Md. -- The University of Delaware women's swimming and diving team received a strong individual performance from Mina Feyrer but ultimately fell to Towson University 184-109 Saturday afternoon at Burdick Hall.
Feyrer, a junior, swept the butterfly events winning both the 100 (57.63) and the 200 (2:07.30). Other highlights included Delaware (5-7, 0-5 CAA) freshman Kristina Newton finishing second to Feyrer in the 200 fly (2:10.01), senior Sarah Braatz finishing second in the 50 free (24.72) and Amy Nemeth finishing second in the 100 free (53.93).
The Blue Hens will take the next couple of weeks to prepare for the 2018 Colonial Athletic Association Championships held at the Christiansburg Aquatic Center in Christiansburg, Va. Feb. 14-17.
