Hens Drop 6-1 Match to Rutgers

WILMINGTON, Del. – The final score wasn't in favor of the Blue Hens Sunday afternoon as Delaware dropped the 6-1 match to Rutgers at DuPont Country Club.
In doubles play, junior Sara Komer and sophomore Brooke Pilkington captured their second straight win with a 6-2 top flight doubles victory over Mingxiu Du and Kat Muzik.
Pilkington was also victorious in singles play with her 6-3, 6-2 top flight singles decision against Du.
With the loss, Delaware falls to 0-3 on the year while the Scarlet Knights improved to 3-0 overall.
