Wong and Casselbury Named CAA Doubles Team of the Week

RICHMOND, Va. – Two Blue Hens were honored Wednesday for their outstanding performances on the court as junior Blaise Casselbury (Litiz, Pa/Lancaster Country Day) and senior Colin Wong (Shah Alam, Selangor, Malaysia/SMK Kota Kemuning) gathered CAA Doubles Team of the Week accolades.
Casselbury and Wong earned the honors following their 6-3 victory over Saint Joseph's Beekman Schaeffer and Dan Tan at the No. 1 slot as Delaware (2-1, 0-0 CAA) earned the doubles point in its 5-2 team triumph over the Hawks. It was the first dual-match win of the year for Casselbury and Wong and helped the Blue Hens defeat Saint Joseph's for the first time since 2012, ending a five-match losing streak.
UD returns to the court this weekend on Friday, February 9 against James Madison at Elkton Indoor Tennis and Sunday, February 11 against Chestnut Hill at DuPont Country Club.
