WILMINGTON, Del. - The University of Delaware men's tennis team recently gave back to the game of tennis by volunteering at the Serviam Girls Academy through the Rodney Street Tennis and Tutoring Association (RSTTA).
“I am proud of my guys for taking some time out of their day to give back to our wonderful community and to help grow the game of tennis” said Blue Hens head coach Pablo Montana.
This season marked the second straight year that the Hens paired with RSTTA to teach the basic foundations of tennis to the youth, and help grow the game of tennis throughout the community.
The RSTTA strives to have each child develop a sense of confidence and success; whether celebrating victories on the tennis court or embracing academic success in the classroom.
