NEWARK, Del. – The energy around the University of Delaware athletic department these is days is palpable thanks to new and exciting times for the Blue Hens.
As part of the new and exciting times, the Blue Hens are proud to announce a new partnership with SIDEARM Sports to unveil the newly-designed BlueHens.com.Â
"We're excited to partner with SIDEARM Sports, who has become a true leader in the digital industry," Senior Associate AD for External Relations Stacey Bunting-Thompson said. "We know that our website and digital space are the front porch of our athletic department in many ways and we're excited about the enhanced look and content that will be put forth by our team."
The newly-designed BlueHens.com brings a fresh, clean look that is responsive on all mobile platforms and give easy access to schedules, stories, photos, videos and much more.
"SIDEARM Sports is excited to enter into a partnership with the University of Delaware and hope the supporters, fans, student-athletes and staff of Blue Hens enjoy the new website," said Jeff Rubin, President/CEO of SIDEARM Sports. "The new site will feature easy navigation including immediate access to the Team Shop, Tickets and Donations. Fans will also be able to easily access schedules, video content and highlighted student athletes. We are delighted to have the opportunity to work with the University of Delaware."
In addition to the new look, BlueHens.com will be giving a more in-depth look at the people that make up the Blue Hen family from the student-athletes, coaches, staff and, of course the fans. Weekly features as well as photos and videos that help tell the stories behind the Blue Hen family will be front and center on BlueHens.com.
"Our industry has changed so much in recent years and we're excited to dig into telling the stories behind our Blue Hen family," Assistant AD for Communications Scott Day said. "The rich tradition and passion that makes this place so special and home to so many is what will be front and center on all of our platforms from the website to social media."

Why can't I access a page I used to visit?
As a part of this redesign and based on user feedback, our main menu has been updated to better organize and streamline our content. A page you used to visit may have been moved under a new menu so we encourage you to explore and acquaint yourself with the new navigation. Additionally, in every relaunch there will likely be some bugs and glitches. We thank you for your patience as we iron out details in these first few weeks.

Some pages have been combined or revamped to provide the best information to the visitor. Old pages that may have been archived should redirect to the corresponding new page the most relevant content. What used to be text may now be displayed as a video, photo or infographic.
