Youth Cheer Day – Registration Now Open!

Saturday, October 13 • Delaware Stadium, Newark, Delaware
Calling all kids ages 12 & younger - register today to participate in Youth Cheer Day! Learn more about the importance of education and fitness while meeting and interacting with the University of Delaware Cheerleading teams. All participants will learn a short routine to be performed on-field at halftime of the Blue Hens Football game later that day for all to see in Delaware Stadium. No experience is necessary. Attire is athletic apparel and sneakers.
WHO: Kids 12 years old & younger. All skill levels welcome. No cheerleading experience necessary.
WHAT: A youth cheer clinic with the University of Delaware Cheerleaders, leading up to an on-field halftime performance. Registration fee of $25 will include clinic, long sleeve shirt, and one game ticket for participant. Family and friends may purchase additional tickets in advance for $15 during online event registration.
WHERE: Delaware Field House & Delaware Stadium.
WHEN: Saturday, October 13
12 p.m. - 12:30 p.m.: Clinic Check-In (Delaware Field House)
12:30 p.m. - 1:30 p.m.: Pre-Game Clinic, material learned for performance
1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.: Have fun in the Anchor Buick GMC Fan Zone in front of the Bob Carpenter Center
3:30 p.m.: Kick-off vs. Elon
7 Minutes Left in the 2nd Quarter: Participants meet at North End Zone field gate (closest to video board)
Halftime: On-Field Performance
