NEW PROVIDENCE, N.J. – The Blue Hens kept it close across the board, but in the end Seton Hall picked up the 4-1 victory at the Murray Hill Tennis and Fitness Center Saturday evening.
Freshman Tayo Adetunji posted Delaware's lone win of the day with a 6-3, 6-1 victory over Anniek Jansen in No. 6 singles.
Senior Sarah Hall was up 2-6, 6-2, 5-2 and at match-point in the third flight when the Pirates clinched victory. Classmate Draga Sabotic also came up with an unfinished match at 2-6, 6-4, 2-2 in the fifth flight.
