Hens Celebrate Senior Day By Posting 1-0 Victory Over James Madison

NEWARK, Del. – The No. 12 Blue Hens had a lot to celebrate Sunday afternoon as Delaware finished its fourth straight season with an undefeated conference record following its 1-0 victory over James Madison at Fred P. Rullo Stadium.
Additionally, the Hens recognized seniors Sarah Horgan, Ally Pollak and Kaitlyn Zook in addition to graduate students Tessa Gote and Milan Spooren and senior athletic training student Joe Fullum pre-game.
Junior Femke Strien recorded the games lone goal off a penalty corner in the eighth minute. Classmates Sophie Giezeman and Emily Kresho assisted on the play.
Redshirt senior Sydney Rhodes picked up her sixth complete game shutout this season for Delaware and also collected two saves in the win.

· UD has won a program-record 24 straight CAA regular season games.
· The last CAA team to post at least four straight years of undefeated conference play came from 1996-01 by Old Dominion.
