NEWARK, Del. – The Blue Hens started off hot, but George Washington grabbed momentum in the second half and held on for the 63-49 victory over Delaware Wednesday evening at the Bob Carpenter Center.
Senior Abby Gonzales led the Hens with 16 points, including four 3-pointers, to go along with four rebounds, four steals and an assist.
Sophomore Jasmine Dickey added 13 points and five rebounds while graduate student Nicole Enabosi posted five points and a game-high six rebounds for Delaware.
