Molina and Wilkinson Garner CAA Doubles Team of the Week Honors

RICHMOND, Va. – Freshmen Luis Molina and James Wilkinson captured the first weekly honors of the year for the Blue Hens as the duo was named the Colonial Athletic Association Men's Doubles Team of the Week Wednesday.

The pair finished the weekend with two wins at No. 1 doubles as Delaware defeated UC Riverside (4-3) and Fairleigh Dickinson (7-0).

Molina and Wilkinson rolled passed UC Riverside's Anderson Ju and Vignesh Subramanya, 6-1, to help UD (6-2) secure the critical doubles point. They followed with a narrow 7-5 triumph against FDU's Mehdhi Dhouib and Andris Gudins.

Molina and Wilkinson are 6-1 on the season and have captured five straight wins for the Hens.

Delaware returns to the courts this Sunday by hosting Johns Hopkins (Noon) and Rider (5 p.m.) at Elkton Indoor Tennis.
