NEWARK, Del. – It may be March, but the buzz around the University of Delaware football program is at an all-time high this week.
With the highest project draft pick in over 10 years on display, this year's Pro Day event is expected to draw more eyes than ever before.
This year's Pro Day is set to bring in over 100 NFL personnel to take in Blue Hen talent that includes Nasir Adderley, Troy Reeder, Charles Scarff, Joe Walker, Vinny Papale, Noah Beh, Ray Jones, Tenny Adewusi, KC Hinton, Kareem Williams and several others.
"This is what we've worked so hard for. We just want an opportunity to show what we can do," Reeder said. "It's been proven that these pro organizations will find you and Delaware has shown that plenty over the years. We just want a shot."
"For these group of guys, we're all blessed to have this chance to show what we can do. We've all worked together, side-by-side, for all these years and now we get an opportunity to put all of our work on display and it's pretty special to be able to do that alongside guys who I consider my brothers," Walker added.
Pro Day will begin at the Bob Carpenter Center around 8:30 a.m. on Friday before moving to on-field drills and testing in Delaware Field House shortly after 9 a.m.
The event is open to the public with seating available in the stands at Delaware Field House.
