University of Delaware Athletics Announces Staff Promotions

NEWARK, Del. – University of Delaware Director of Intercollegiate Athletics and Recreation Services, Chrissi Rawak, has announced organizational changes and promotions. These changes will create the next level of alignment and increase collaboration amongst all areas throughout the organization.
"I am very excited to be able to announce these organizational changes," Rawak said. "We have all worked very hard to build a solid foundation and we are now ready to build upon what has been set. The future is very bright here at Delaware and we continue to be grateful for the support of our University leaders. We know that these changes are going to allow us to continue to grow and achieve success!"
Jaime Seguin has been promoted to Deputy Athletic Director for Internal Operations and Chief Financial Officer. Seguin is responsible for all internal operations for DIARS. This is inclusive of capital projects, facilities and event management, business operations, human resources, equipment and information technology. She serves as a sport administrator for women's field hockey and women's rowing. Currently in her second year at UD, Seguin boasts 20 years of college athletics experience including stints at Boston College, University of Massachusetts and the University of Hartford. She received her bachelor's degree in economics and psychology from Boston College before earning her master's degree in sport management from the University of Massachusetts.
Jake Schrum has been promoted to Associate Athletic Director, BCC Operations and Facilities. Schrum is responsible for facility operations for DIARS, oversees all event management for external events and athletic competitions, as well as ensures a high level of excellence for facilities and operations. Schrum, who joined UD in 2015, earned his degree from West Virginia in 2008.
Danny Neeson has been promoted to Associate Athletic Director, Event Operations and Championships. He is responsible for game day operations, event management, credentialing, serves as a liaison with visiting teams and officials, oversees scheduling, game contracts, and supervising student game day staff. Neeson is a 2012 graduate of UD and has worked in DIARS since graduation.
Jen Vining-Smith, Senior Associate Athletic Director for Governance and Sport Administration, has additional responsibilities of Sport Administration and will continue as the department's Senior Woman Administrator (SWA). Vining-Smith oversees the team operations and compliance departments and serves as sport administrator for the sports of women's basketball, volleyball and men's tennis. Vining-Smith, currently in her second year in Newark, holds 16 years of experience in college athletics including stops at Notre Dame, UCLA, Northwestern and the Big Ten Conference office and earned her degree from Manchester (Ind.) College and her master's degree from the University of Louisville.
Lauren Hunt has been promoted to Associate Athletic Director, Compliance and oversees the day to day responsibilities of the compliance office. She is responsible for managing the NLI process, monitoring student-athlete eligibility, educating coaches, student-athletes and staff members on NCAA rules and regulations, serves as the liaison between athletics staff members and the Office of Admissions, Registrar's Office and Student Financial Services and tracking the completion of the Academic Progress Rate report. Hunt, who has worked in the UD compliance office since 2011, earned her degree from East Carolina before earning two master's degrees from Central Florida.
Jordan Skolnick, currently in his fourth year at UD, has been promoted to Deputy Athletic Director for External Relations and Revenue Generation. Skolnick will oversee all revenue generation and external relations for the department, including communications, corporate sponsorships, licensing, marketing and engagement, social media, sports and entertainment sales, ticket sales, and video. He is responsible for all aspects of fundraising for DIARS and works with coaches and University leadership to develop relationships and secure resources for teams and student-athletes. Skolnick also serves as a sport administrator for men's lacrosse and women's soccer.
Skolnick and the development team have been instrumental in the launch of the Delaware First Campaign, which included a $60 million facility goal that was reached in June 2019. He is a graduate of Brandeis University and earned his master's degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. In addition to working at UNC, he has also spent time at Yale University and the University of Michigan.
Brendan Fuller has been promoted to Associate Athletic Director of Development and will oversee the major gift fundraising for Delaware Athletics. Fuller will continue to work with alumni, parents, and friends of the University to secure resources necessary to ensure the success of all UD programs and to strengthen the student-athlete experience. Fuller, in his fourth year at Delaware, is a 2009 graduate of the University of Scranton and earned his master's degree at West Chester University in 2011.
Laurel Hosmer has been promoted to Assistant Athletic Director of Development. In addition to her current responsibilities of developing relationships and securing funds for Delaware Athletics, she will lead the department's efforts in fundraising for programs related to leadership development, career readiness and health & wellbeing. Hosmer, in her fourth year in Newark, graduated from SUNYIT in 2009 and earned her master's degree at University of Massachusetts in 2013.
Kelly Prachniak has been promoted to Assistant Athletic Director, Annual Giving and Special Projects. Prachniak is responsible for the management of the Delaware Athletics annual giving program and works closely with staff, coaches, alumni, and volunteers in developing strategic initiatives to provide increased revenue in support of the mission of Delaware Athletics. Prachniak, currently in her sixth year at UD, earned her degree from Shippensburg University in 2008 and her master's degree from Georgetown University in 2010.
