Offensive Explosion Pushes Delaware Past Northeastern, 81-69

NEWARK, Del. – Delaware opened the second half of Colonial Athletic Association play with an offensive explosion Friday evening as the Hens topped Northeastern, 81-69, at the Cabot Center.
The Blue Hens shot a blistering 55.8 percent from the field on 29-of-52 shooting and scored their most points in regulation since November 2018.
Delaware saw three players record double figure scoring efforts while each Blue Hen who played scored at least one point.
A game after scoring 27 points against Towson, Nicole Enabosi led the way versus the Huskies with 28 points, eight rebounds, four steals, two assists and two blocked shots.
Jasmine Dickey added her league-leading ninth double double of the season with 14 points and 13 rebounds while Abby Gonzales contributed 12 points of her own.
Delaware opened the gates blazing and knocked down five-of-six 3-pointers in the first quarter to lead, 22-15, after 10 minutes of play. The Hens never backed down en route to their third win in four games.

· Delaware's 55.8 shooting percentage was the best for the Hens since shooting 58.0 percent (29-for-50) at Towson on February 2, 2014; the mark is good to tie for 11th in program single-game history.
· Nicole Enabosi is five points away from tying Tiara Malcom (2001-05) for sixth in program history with 1,545 career points.
· Nicole Enabosi is one rebounds away from tying Elena Delle Donne (2009-13) for third in program history with 1,019 career rebounds.
· Abby Gonzales moved past Elena Delle Donne (2009-13) into third place all-time with 508 career 3-point field goals attempted.
