Blue Hens Top Quinnipiac, 6-1

WILMINGTON, Del. – Delaware remained undefeated to open the year with its 6-1 victory over Quinnipiac Sunday evening at Delcastle Tennis Center.
Sarah Whited and Eliza Askarova kicked off play by improving to 6-1 on the season with their No. 1 doubles victory.
Viva Laas and Isabella Montana clinched the team doubles point with their win in the second flight.
Montana led off singles play with a win in the third flight before Askarova picked up a victory in the first flight.
Whited captured the win for the Blue Hens in the fourth flight while Emily Gotkiewicz and Caragh Courtney also collected victories.

"We are really proud of the way the ladies competed today. I thought we played better in doubles and are starting to execute what we have been working on in practices.
