RICHMOND, Va. – The outdoor weather conditions were subpar Friday afternoon as the Blue Hens fell to Richmond, 4-1, at the Westhampton Courts.
Due to unfavorable spring conditions, the two teams led off with singles action and did not make it to doubles play.
Freshman Eliza Askarova picked up Delaware's lone win of the day with a come-from-behind 0-6, 6-4, 6-2 victory over Emily Dunbar in top-flight play. The victory is the 14th of her rookie campaign.
