Women’s Tennis Signs Julieta Honrubia to NLI

NEWARK, Del. – University of Delaware head coach Kelly Anderson announced Wednesday the addition of standout Julieta Honrubia to a National Letter of Intent to play women's tennis for the Blue Hens beginning during the 2020-21 academic year.

"We are excited to welcome Julieta to our Blue Hen family!" remarked Anderson, who recently completed her second season as head coach of the Hens. "It was clear from the start that Julieta has the attributes we are looking for in a student-athlete as we continue to build this program."

Assistant coach Fons Verberne added, "Julieta represents everything we look for in a recruit. Her personality, ambition, work ethic and determination to succeed on and off the court creates excitement for all of us. We can't wait to welcome her to the Blue Hen Family - the future is bright!"
