HARRISONBURG, Va. – The Delaware women's soccer team traveled to Harrisonburg, Va. to take on James Madison in its final match of the fall season. The Blue Hens battled hard from start to finish before falling to the Dukes, 2-1.
"Once the tournament field was set for us after Thursday's game, I knew today would simply be about the character of our group," said head coach Mike Barroqueiro. "I was glad to see the way we competed today. We created chances, we played hard and I'm proud the seniors got to experience one more good battle. In the end, we have work to do and that's okay. I'm excited to get to it this spring!"
