Delaware Athletics Gift Wrapping

Members of the University of Delaware Athletics Department took part in a gift wrapping event this week. A few weeks ago, staff members selected gift tags from the giving tree to purchase a present that fit the description. All presents will be donated to the Newark Boys and Girls Club. Student-athletes and staff banned together to listen to holiday music, fill out holiday cards, spread the cheer, and wrap gifts for the Boys and Girls Club. The event was just one of many the department has committed themselves to this year. From food drives to coat drives to a teddy bear toss, the UD Athletics Department has found ways to give back to the local Newark community this holiday season.
