Blue Hens Women’s Tennis Defeats George Washington 5-2

WILMINGTON, Del. – The Blue Hens women's tennis team remains undefeated on the season after defeating the George Washington Colonials Sunday, 5-2.

"Another great day in the office! Our ladies came out aggressive in the doubles, playing on our terms and we took early leads on all three courts," said head coach Pablo Montana. "We carried that momentum into the singles and won fast on courts four and five. Each match we are continuing to improve and I'm proud of these ladies for believing in the process. We are excited to start practicing outside as we prepare for Navy in a few weeks."

The Blue Hens collected the doubles point after handedly winning all three courts. In singles play, Delaware won courts three, four, five and six while dropping courts one and two in super tiebreaks.

Delaware will return to action on Sunday, March 21 at Navy.
