Blue Hens Set to Host Sacred Heart in Opening Round of FCS Playoffs

NEWARK, Del. – The CAA Champion University of Delaware football team will host Sacred Heart in the first round of the NCAA Division I FCS Playoffs at Delaware Stadium Saturday at 7 p.m.

It marks the first time since 2010 that the Blue Hens are hosting an FCS Playoff game when they eventually reached the National Championship game.

General tickets and parking passes will be available for purchase Sunday at 2 p.m. Current season ticket members will receive priority for premium seating areas. Bleacher and end zone seating is available to all fans.

Students looking to attend must reserve complimentary tickets through the student ticketing portal.

Delaware is coming off a 27-20 victory over Villanova in the Battle of the Blue to help clinch the conference title and the automatic qualifier for the postseason.

Saturday's contest will be just the second meeting between the two programs with the first coming in 2014 in Newark.
