Julia Duffhuis Named CAA Rookie of the Week

RICHMOND, Va. – The final edition of the Colonial Athletic Association's Field Hockey weekly awards features Delaware's Julia Duffhuis first weekly honor as the CAA Rookie of the Week.
Duffhuis scored three goals in three games for the Blue Hens in a 2-1 week. In Delaware's season finale versus Hofstra, Duffhuis initiated the scoring recording the first goal of the game and the Blue Hens never trailed going on to win the game 4-2. She also added a goal the game before as Delaware defeated Drexel 5-1. Additionally, Duffuis scored the first goal of the game to give Delaware a 1-0 advantage against James Madison however the Blue Hens fell to the Dukes 2-1. Duffuis currently ranks third in the CAA in both goals per game (0.57) and shots per game (2.86) this spring.
