2020-21 Hennies Award Winners Announced

Newark, Del. – The Delaware Athletics Department and the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee held its annual Hennies Awards on Tuesday night at Delaware Stadium.
In a socially distanced environment, student-athletes waited patiently to see which of their fellow teammates and student-athletes would walk away with the night's top honors.
The selected MC's for the night were SAAC member's Milo Nagle of men's tennis and Chayanna Gallardo of softball.
The major awards that were presented were: Most Outstanding Male Athlete, Most Outstanding Female Athlete, the Edgar Johnson and the Mary Ann Hitchens Award, and the Chuck Hall Strength & Conditioning Awards. Additional awards announced were Team MVPs, Team Sportsmanship Awards, community service and academic honors.
Members of the men's lacrosse, women's basketball, football, softball, and field hockey programs took home the top honors.
