Plack Named to HERO Sports Sophomore All-American Team

NEWARK, Del. – Redshirt sophomore Noah Plack has been named to the HERO Sports FCS Sophomore All-American Team as a defensive back Wednesday morning.

Plack helped the Blue Hens claim the CAA Championship and reach the FCS Semifinals after earning Second-Team All-CAA honors.

The Bridgeville, Pennsylvania native led Delaware with 45 tackles on the season to go along with two interceptions and two forced fumbles.

Plack came on late, making a career-high 11 tackles in the opening round playoff game against Sacred Heart. In the postseason along, he made 21 tackles with two interceptions and a forced fumble in three games.

Plack and the rest of the University of Delaware football program will have a short offseason, opening up the 2021 fall campaign Sept. 4 at Maine before the home-opener on Sept. 11 against Saint Francis. Fans interested in season tickets for the 2021 fall season can visit here.
