Why did you choose to accept a position at UD?

Delaware has always been my home. From my time as a fan going to football games from early childhood, to college working for the athletics department, it has always been where I wanted to be.

What's a memorable moment at UD that you've had since arriving?

(Student) Working as a manager for the Women's Basketball team that won consecutive CAA titles and went to the sweet 16.

What's the best part about your job?

Working with athletes and coaches on a daily basis. College Athletics is so focused on student athletes, and getting a chance to interact with them on a daily basis is great. Over my time I have built relationships with coaches and athletes that have lasted even after their career at Delaware ends.

What advice/knowledge/words of wisdom would you tell someone that's interested in pursuing your field?

Work hard. It sounds simple, but working hard is the most important thing you can do. It helps you to get noticed, and when you are noticed, good things happen.
Never turn down an opportunity that you get, and always be willing to help out
Network. A huge part of this field is who you know and who will recommend you for jobs.

What's your favorite kind of food?

Italian Food, mainly Pizza

Which season is your favorite?

Spring – Warm Days, Cool Nights, and Baseball

If you could only eat one meal for the rest of your life, what would it be?

Pizza

What's one item you can't leave your house or apartment without?

A hat. As someone who is balding, it has become a staple to my wardrobe.

If you could only have three apps on your smartphone, which would you pick?

Twitter, DoorDash, Accuweather
