Adair Announces WBB Operations Staff Updates

Newark, Del. – Delaware head women's basketball coach Natasha Adair has announced updates to her operations staff.
KiKe Rafiu has been promoted to Director of Basketball Operations, while Carter Caplan has been added as Assistant Manager for Women's Basketball Operations.
"I'm excited to promote KiKe to Director of Basketball Operations," said Adair. "KiKe will be responsible for the organization and oversight of travel arrangements and will assist with on-campus recruiting. She will spearhead our video and analytics, in addition to assisting with administrative duties throughout our athletic department. As a former Division I player and standout, KiKe is experienced, knowledgeable and driven which are key components that will be extremely valuable in the continued growth and success of our student-athletes as well as our program."
Caplan arrived at Delaware after spending the 2020-21 season as the Director of Basketball Operations at Niagara University, where he navigated operational duties for the women's basketball program during the COVID-19 pandemic. A native of Maryland, Caplan spent four years as the Head Manager for the women's basketball team at Drexel, where he was responsible for hiring and training managers, facilitating team meals and assisting the coaching staff and director of basketball operations with day-to-day operations, and social media.
"I'm thrilled that Carter is joining our Blue Hen family," said Adair. "His energy and enthusiasm for the game as well as the welfare of our student athletes is what drives him. Carter will oversee our managers and practice players. He will assist our coaches with scheduling, recruiting, travel and various operational needs. He will also work to implement, develop and enhance our scouting software and analytics for maximum efficiency and growth. We're so #ProUD to have Carter here in Newark."
