Trio of Blue Hens Earn Stats Perform Preseason All-America Honors

NEWARK, Del. - A trio of Delaware football players were named to the 2021 Stats Perform FCS Preseason All-America Team, the organization announced today.

Senior offensive lineman David Kroll, a 2021 spring All-America honoree, was the lone Blue Hen named to the first team. Reigning CAA Offensive Player of the Year running back senior Dejoun Lee and All-American defensive back junior Kedrick Whitehead were both named to the second team. All three players earned All-CAA Preseason accolades last week.

The CAA had a total of 15 players from seven schools named to the 2021 Stats Perform FCS Preseason All-America team.

The reigning conference champions kick off the 2021 campaign at Maine on Sept. 2. The game is set for a 7 p.m. kickoff.
