Women’s Tennis Preview: ITA Atlantic Regionals

» The women's tennis team returns to the court this weekend, traveling down to Annapolis, Maryland for the ITA Regionals. The three-day tournament will be held at the Brigade Sports Complex outdoor courts and the Dahlgren Hall outdoor courts at the Naval Academy.

» Five Blue Hens will be in action as Eliza Askarova, Julieta Honrubia, Viva Laas, Isabella Montana and Samantha Svendsen will all be competing in singles.

» In doubles, the two teams of Honrubia and Svendsen and Askarova and Montana are both seeded in the main draw and have byes into the second round.

» Matches will start each day at 9 a.m., doubles competition will play up to the semifinal round while singles will compete up to the quarterfinal round. Players advancing to those selected rounds will qualify to take part in the ITA Super Regional Championship that will be hosted in Charlottesville, Virginia from October 22-25.
