Blue Hens Ranked No. 6 in Stats Perform FCS Top 25

CHICAGO, Ill. - After a 10-point Colonial Athletic Association win to open the 2021 football season, Delaware comes in at No. 6 in the Stats Perform FCS Top 25 Poll announced on Monday.

The Blue Hens traveled to Maine and came away with a 34-24 victory. Delaware started the game on a 17-0 run and held the Black Bears scoreless in the second half to start the season 1-0.

Delaware entered the season ranked No. 5 in the preseason poll.

A national media panel selects the Stats Perform FCS Top 25. A first-place vote is worth 25 points, a second-place vote 24 points, all the way down to one point for a 25th-place vote.
