Women's Soccer Teddy Bear Drive This Thursday

NEWARK, Del. – The University of Delaware Athletics will be holding a teddy bear drive at the Delaware women's soccer home match on Thursday, Sept. 9 versus St. John's as part of National Teddy Bear Day.
All fans attending the match are asked to bring a new teddy bear or stuffed animal to the contest. Teddy bears and stuffed animals will be collected upon entering Stuart and Suzanne Grant Stadium at the marketing table in front of the south entrance to the bleachers. Fans who participate in the teddy bear drive will receive a free ticket to the Delaware volleyball match on Saturday, Sept. 18 versus James Madison and a 50% discounted ticket to one select Delaware football game.
The collected teddy bears and stuffed animals will be donated to Delaware children in need (more information on the children that Kind to Kids support can be found at kindtokids.org).
