David Kroll Selected to Phil Steele All-American Second Team

NEWARK, Del. – University of Delaware offensive lineman David Kroll was named to the Phil Steele FCS All-America Second Team. It is the third All-American recognition for Kroll this season.

Kroll was also named to the Stats Perform FCS All-America Third Team as well as the HERO Sports 2021 FCS All-America Second Team. The graduate student capped off his Blue Hen career by starting all 11 games this season at left tackle to anchor Delaware's offensive line. The Blue Hens averaged 119.7 yards per game on the ground, and had an All-CAA selection at running back for the third-straight season. Kroll, who was also a key member of the UD's punt unit, started each of the last 20 games for the Blue Hens and appeared in 53 games overall to tie a program record.

He earned All-CAA First Team honors for the second-straight season. During the 2020-21 campaign, Kroll received First Team All-America selections from Stats Perform, AP and Athlon Sports.
