Aislinn Mitchell Sets School Record at the CSCAA National Invitational Championship

ELKHART, Ind. - The Delaware women's swimming program finished 22nd of 43 teams at the CSCAA National Invitational Championship that took place from March 10-12.

"I'm incredibly proud of our group that came here and continued to get better and put our program on the national stage," said head coach Pablo Marmolejo. "It is a great way to finish our season and it shows how much we have grown as a program. The support of our families, alumni and athletic department allowed us to have a historic season. The future is bright for our Blue Hens and we can't wait to get back to work this spring and summer."

On the first day of the championship, Mira Selling qualified for the 200 IM B Final, placing 12th with a time of 2:00.84.

Aislinn Mitchell set a program record in the 100 Fly prelims with a time of 54.29 on the second day of the meet. Later that day, Andromachi Tasakou swam in the 100 Breast A Final where she earned a seventh-place finish, touching the wall in 1:02.06.

Tasakou was the sole Blue Hen to qualify for finals on the last day of the meet, placing 13th in the 200 Breast B Final with a time of 2:15.63.
