Football Adds Chandler Harvin to 2022 Roster

NEWARK, Del. – University of Delaware Football Head Coach Ryan Carty has announced that the program has added graduate transfer wide receiver Chandler Harvin to the roster for the upcoming 2022 season. Harvin, who has two years of eligibility remaining, joins the Blue Hens after playing three seasons at Sam Houston.
In three seasons with the Bearkats, Harvin appeared in 31 games, making 69 catches for 974 yards and seven touchdowns. He has had three career games with at least 100 yards receiving and caught two passes for 16 yards in the 2020-21 National Championship Game. Harvin had three touchdown receptions against Houston Baptist in 2019.
Chandler is a proven playmaker at the FCS level. His size and speed will help us as an offense immediately, and his physicality and toughness will fit right in with our UD culture.Head Coach Ryan Carty

Played in all 12 games at wide receiver
Finished fourth on the team with 23 catches for 330 yards and three touchdowns
Had four grabs for a season-high 72 yards and a 42-yard score in a win over Southeast Missouri
Pulled in touchdown catches in wins over Lamar and at Tarleton
2020-21 Season (at Sam Houston)
Played in seven games, finishing with 13 grabs for 169 yards
Hauled in seven catches for 118 yards in season-opening win over No. 18 Southeastern Louisiana
Missed threee games due to injury, but returned to play regular season finale and each playoff game
Had a pair of catches for 18 yards in win over North Dakota State
Had 2 grabs for 16 yards in FCS Championship Game vs South Dakota State
2019 Season (at Sam Houston)
Played in all 12 games at wide receiver, finishing third on the team with 475 yards receiving
Had biggest game of the year in the season finale, tying a school single-game record with 13 catches for 188 yards and three touchdowns in a win over Houston Baptist
Had four grabs for 108 yards against Northwestern State
Scored first career touchdown at McNeese

Did not see any action, receiving a redshirt
