Women’s Tennis Schedule Unveiled

NEWARK, Del. – The University of Delaware women's tennis team will begin their season in two weeks as the Blue Hens announced their 2022-23 schedule on Monday.
Delaware will spend the first half of its season on the road, heading to Philadelphia to take on Villanova and Temple from Sept. 16-18.
The Blue Hens will compete in five tournaments, returning to the Bedford Cup, ITA Regionals and Cissie Leary Invite.
The team has 11 non-conference head-to-head matchups before kicking off CAA conference play against Monmouth on Feb. 18. UD will finish their regular season at home against Towson on Apr. 15.
Delaware will be led by 2021-22 CAA Co-Freshman of the Year Alina Vasilenko, who went 19-2 overall in singles and 18-0 overall in doubles last season.
