Women’s Tennis Boasts Solid Outing at First Day of Cissie Leary Invitational

PHILADELPHIA – Delaware women's tennis posted a solid outing on the first day of the Cissie Leary Invitational on Friday with a 5-1 record in a split matchup against Temple. The three-day event is being hosted by the University of Pennsylvania.

In a partnered effort with Princeton, the Blue Hens were responsible for four singles and two doubles flights.

Alina Vasilenko, Isabella Montana, Santianna Chrysopoulo picked up singles wins for the Hens, while Vasilenko/Montana and Chrysopoulo/Olga Mishenina snagged doubles victories.

UD takes on day two of the invitational on Saturday.
