Gore Wins Fourth Flight Singles Title at St. Joe’s Invitational

2022 SJU Invitational Final Results

PHILADELPHIA – Nicholas Gore claimed the fourth flight singles title on Sunday as the Delaware men's tennis team completed the three-day St. Joe's Invitational. The Kingston, Jamaica native combined for a 4-0 record over the course of the event to sit atop the fourth flight standings.

Overall, the Blue Hens went 10-6 in draws and 2-1 in back draws for a total 12-7 record for the weekend.

Tobey Lock neared a consolation title in flight two singles but fell in the final match. Bernardo Teixeira and William Wibmer also nearly claimed a consolation title but dropped the final doubles flight one match.
