Delaware Announces Dates for Parents & Family Weekend and Homecoming

NEWARK, Del. – The 2023 Delaware football schedule was released earlier this month and there will be six opportunities to catch the Blue Hens in Delaware Stadium. Two of those games will have extra meaning for many UD fans as the University has announced the dates for Parents & Family Weekend and Homecoming.
Delaware's contest against Duquesne on Saturday, October 7 will be part of this year's Parents and Family Weekend. It will be just the second all-time meeting between the two programs with the Blue Hens winning the only previous matchup, a 30-6 victory in Newark during the 2010 season.
Festivities for Parents and Family Weekend will run throughout the entire weekend of October 6-8. More information will come from the Orientation & Transition Programs in Student Life in the coming months regarding a schedule of activities and event registration.
The Blue & Gold's home game against CAA newcomer North Carolina A&T on Saturday, October 14 will coincide with UD's Homecoming weekend. The contest will be the second meeting between the Blue Hens and Aggies, and the first in 45 years. The only previous meeting came in 1978 with Delaware coming away with the 26-0 shutout at home.
Game times will be announced at a later date. Season tickets for the 2023 football season are on sale now and can be purchased HERE. Only season ticket holders are guaranteed the ability to purchase tickets to UD's game at Penn State on September 9.
